That 12 bit beauty that adds great character to any sound sampled, makes everything more musical, and has a great way of sitting in a mix while still sounding big.
The rack is ideal, the best one to get is a SE HD with the corresponding panel graphics, then you can even add external scsi and have a zip drive, but I don't use too many of the SE features, so a regular emax is cool too if the price is right.
