Re: Floppy drive busted?

2005-10-03 by Phreak boy

Hi

Do you know where I set the jumpers? I didnt see anywhere in the back
of the floppy drive

I saw in some postings here that you could use a TEAC - I installed
a Teac FD-235HF - however it still doesnt appear to work - I weither
get 'load floppy disk' on the display or 'loading operating system'
depending on how the cable goes between the emax board and the floppy
drive ..either way the drive is not spinning /reading when i put a
disk in it

Or is it the case that this floppy drive is not compatable

Thank you all for your help - assistance.....stil lwaiting to hear my
12 bit gritty sounds :(((
