Emax

Hello,
 Is there anything like EMX for macintosh os 9? I've been wanting to buy the
chicken systems translator software for a while as it seems to be the ONLY
thing I can find that does anything remotely helpfull for my machines but I
really miss EMX, being able to get some of the old sample disks was pretty
cool, Does anyone know of anything free that'll make emax 1 files reable by
my E4? I have an emax IIr I bought just for this purpose but it came in the
mail with an unreadable lcd and won't playback anything I attempt to load
and the whole bottom list of charactors is not on the lcd so I can't even
see to attempt the file conversion.
Resampling my entire emax library is just too much of a hassle.
Did chicken systems ever finish a full conversion for the emax 1?
 Anyway if anyone knows of anything that would help with file conversion
between these and a way to use emx on mac please let me know.
