Emax

Hi my name is johannes, I bought my emax 1994 secondhand and used eversince a lot. 
I am very happy that i found this board! I hope to be able to benefit from your wisdom.
Last month my psu failed, I learned from the board how to replace the old one with an atx 
standard device, that encouraged me a lot! Now i realy want the bring my emax I (keyboad) 
back to full funktionality! I want to eplace the faded display and i also want to do something 
with the buttons... since enter and up and down buttons are pretty num.
My data slider also is f...t up to... 
I read the post how to fix the buttons... ok
but what about the sliders? has anyone tried to fix these? 

I wonderd if its possible to replace the data slider with a digital rotary dial?
