Back in the early 90s I paid around $AU5000 for my Emax II. At the time I could not afford the hard disk or Syquest removable drive, let alone a CDROM drive as these options were priced at more than $AU1000 each! So in relative terms, $US150 for a flash drive with vastly greater storage capacity and reliability is dirt cheap. Buy one and be happy :) /Tristan Quoting Rei <vjrei@...>: > > > I'm finding it really hard to pull the trigger on a SCSI flash > drive now > > that they all go for US$150 each... will eventually, but owch.... > the > > scsi upgrade kit I just installed only cost $50! and I'm unsure if > my > > emax is even worth $150 even with the SCSI upgrade I did. > > > > Man we can not go over street value, I am in Venezuela, my Emax II > was $175 + $80 to the > courrier and it cost me about $500 to bring it here to Caracas, then > I bought 2 flash drives > scsi interfaces for $400.
