SCSI upgrade has nothing to do with the Mac connectivity that I am aware of.

I don't think Emax 1 has SCSI dump.

The SCSI upgrade will allow you to:
1) Boot faster
2) Save 35 banks to HD, Zip, or compact flash/SD. - 1 flash is much easier
to work with than 35 floppy disks.
3) Switch banks in a very short time (couple of seconds).

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
