Maybe someone on the list can help me here. So I got a new floppy drive working (thanks Ted) on my Emax and I'm *just* now getting around to using EMXP and loading up presets. It's a Teac Slim Floppy and looks pretty slick in the rack as it matches somewhat closely the color of the Emax Chassis. I've got room for another 3.5" drive and was going to put a Zip100 in only to find out that they are a fraction wider than the slot I have to work with. Ugh. (anyone else run into problems mounting a Zip100 drive per it's width?). Anyways, my question that is bothering me at the moment:: Is it possible that a few of the voices could go out on these? I seem to have limited polyphony on mine (although I haven't confirmed this 100% as I'm not using my own presets and there could be layered samples). Anyways I checked and none of the voices are disabled in the Master section, and nothing distorts... it just seems like I'm not getting 8 note polyphony. Any insight from the group? I definitely need to test this for sure with a preset that uses 1 sample only mono. Thanks and much respect to the people on this forum, Brooks [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
