You should be able to use any Quantum drive that came out of an old SCSI based mac up to 500 Mb. Maybe up to 1GB will work. I ditch my hard drive and floppy drive for an old SCSI based CF writer/reader that I installed internally where the floppy drive was. I then use EMXP to format and create banks on the CF cards. check this out. http://www.scsiforsamplers.com/ Elk ________________________________ From: Louis van Dompselaar <louis@...> To: emax@yahoogroups.com Sent: Thursday, July 16, 2009 7:05:28 AM Subject: [emax] Emax II HD As my Emax II harddisk is slowly dying, what are the experiences of Emax II owners wrt replacements? I currently have a Conner CP-3100 (105MB). I already found a 2GB Quantum in my own collection of old drives, but the Emax doesn't like that very much. Are there any larger drives that can be made to work? [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
