You should be able to use any Quantum drive that came out of an old SCSI based mac up to 500 Mb.
Maybe up to 1GB will work. I ditch my hard drive and floppy drive for an old SCSI based CF writer/reader that I installed internally where
the floppy drive was. I then use EMXP to format and create banks on the CF cards.

Subject: [emax] Emax II HD

As my Emax II harddisk is slowly dying, what are the experiences of
Emax II owners
wrt replacements?

I currently have a Conner CP-3100 (105MB). I already found a 2GB
Quantum in my
own collection of old drives, but the Emax doesn't like that very much.

Are there any larger drives that can be made to work?
