Emax

I have exactly the same problem with the LCD on my Emax Plus Rack.
But the problem only occurs when hitting the buttons on the front panel too hard... as long as I'm gentle I have normal readout instead of maximum contrast on the upper line and minimum contrast on the lower line (because that's what it seems to be, if you look hard you can probably read characters "behind" the dark line of boxes).

So I guess it's an LCD problem also - or a PCB problem of the front panel. I don't think it's the CPU or PSU because those wouldn't be influenced by pressing buttons harder (in my case).

I'll have a look at it myself in the near future; I'm now repairing other stuff...
