`sounds like either the floppy disk is damaged or the floppy drive is malfunctioning

have you got a scsi drive installed or fitted externally and is it set to 0if not the floppy drive will look for a os disk in the floppy drive

  Hi thank you but the l c d is working fine its just reading disk not formatted when i try to boot the unit up and when i take the disk out and then try to turn it on again it just shows its looking for the S C S I AND THE DISK DRIVE JUST KEEPS ON SPINNING ?

  it is the pc1602-h you will also need a el panel for it 

  the new screens also dont use negitive feed back for inverted displays so if you are fitting to a rack you have to discard the inverter circuit and fit a pot between pin 3 and ground and vcc 

  ted has done it recently so he can also give you an idea

  Where are you guys getting your Emax 1 replacement LCD's 
  The more blue the better, but anything will work at this point. 
  Is it a MDK52V-0 or PC1602-H? I am not seeing too much online, but I am sure I am just not seeing it.
