What size is the SCSI HDD?
It might be helpful if you post some pictures to group section so we can see what parts you are talking about.

Card I am working with is a Kodak CompactFlash 128mb I used to use for a camera.

I have just tried a SCSI HDD in the Emax and it seems to stick at 'saving bank' and also is making no noises when formatting. Checked on computer and is OK. Tried another SCSI cable as well.
