If you use a HD version of the OS, but don't have a HD, you will get an 
error when trying to save anything, as it looks for the disk then times out.

The SCSI CF route is by far the best. Apart from the speed advantage, 
using a CF card with the EMXP software means you can transfer files to 
and from the sampler, build presets, back up etc.
