Thanks for your swift reply Ted! I will check that over i think you right about the power lead aka kettle lead as found on a water kettle. While playback the hiss occasionally gets louder or dissapears. ive checked leads etc and made sure there not crossing other power leads. If it were a ground difference or my machine needs to grounded how would i go about doing this? Isnt a plug grounded allready? sorry for confusion.
