Hello. I am the proud owner of an EMAX HD SE model # 2010 keyboard, but the
original hard drive is now dead (R.I.P.). I have run into a few problems
trying to replace the dead miniscribe hard drive with an external zip
drive. Basically, there is no external db25 on the rear panel of the
keyboard. Inside, I see an IDC 26 pin on the corner of the circuit board
closest to the hard drive. I have seen pics where other people have an
external db25 close to where this 26 pin is but a little lower. Please see
attached pic. I am confused on how to proceed because there is not much
info out there on this specific situation. Is the 26 pin IDC a scsi port
for an external drive? or should I daisy chain off the dead hard drive or
the floppy disc? Thank you. PS, any hints on which connectors/ adapters to
buy would be helpful. The zip drive has a db25.
