So, have you taken the cf card it reads out and gone back to the computer to load banks there? It maybe the bank images are a different os or something like
2014-07-23 by xeelox@...
Technically, I still can t read banks; that s where I get the Hard Disk Error message. And booting to CF, formatting & writing banks only worked with CF memory
2014-07-22 by Ted Summers
Glad you are making some progress. So to confirm- are you saying that the CF to IDE adapter worked to: format read a bank save a bank boot with PLUS 1.0 also?
2014-07-22 by xeelox@...
... Quite reasonable. Since it worked with 2 different CF readers as well as 2 different IDE Hard drives in Windows, I was going on the theory that the Acard s

the only cf drive i got to work with the acard was a startech ide to cf it has jumpers on there that you can remove for the dma but it worked with the jumper
2014-07-21 by Ted Summers
Regards DMA--- SCSI 1 (and possibly SCSI 2) do not use DMA, it predates DMA bus mastering topology. Therefore, the ACARD is not going to have DMA capability or

If I recall, the applicable version of firmware 3.89 or 6.89 depends upon your board revision. The board revision is screened onto the board itself. My board

I ve got an Acard 7720U REV 3.1 w/ firmware 3.89 and 2 different internal IDE to CF adapters I m testing with. In Windows I can read/write/format any CF card

Obviously I was meaning Key Contact Springs when referring to key springs. I had exactly the same problem on both Emax 1 of mine. I also had the IM386 Scanner

key springs have nothing to do with the contacts they just take the key back to the start position now the contact spring wires these have to be soldered into

No, not the same keys in each octave. I live in Australia - unfortunately moved a few hours out from Sydney 18 months ago, so not as easy to get it serviced

Hi Jamie, No problems with any of the front buttons that I ve noticed. Not sure about MIDI performance as it s not connected up to anything at present. Steve

Emax uses a special clock rate and you cannot use off the shelf DB9 RS422 to USB adapters. You have to build Emuser interface.

The Emax requires a specific pin assignment, so a custom cable should be made. Common retail RS232/RS422 cables won t work with the Emax. Note that normal
