EMAX Sample edit on OSX

How absolutely cool is that!?? You are DA MAN!
Now then, How do we go about
1) getting a copy of this program from you?
2) RS 432 interface our Macs to the EMAX? (is there a special PCI card that we should buy?)

This is just great..will make things a LOT easier, especially looping and renaming...How do we PM you offline and get a copy?
Cheers

Bravo Sir.
Are you using an Emuser or Keyspan serial adapter to connect the mac?

Is this available as beta or release?

Thanks for a tremendous contribution to the new mac world.

This is fantastic! Did you use an EmuSer or some other RS-422 interface? When do you plan to release the software?

I would love to build a similar application for the EIII, but that would require using a SCSI interface and SMDI for the sample dumps. I'm not sure there are any supported SCSI to USB adapters on recent Mac OS X releases. (E-Mu had no room to code the software for the RS-422 interface on the EIII).

Hey, that's me who made that video. I also have an eMuser however, I have never been successful transferring to my EII. Emax I and II work fine though.

EMuSer works on osx ok and also on a EII.
I can send Sound Designer Banks by EMuSer, but I have no idea about sample converting on a EII.
...till now

If possibly you should make a quick video demonstrating how this done. I usually film with just the camera on my phone. I'd be really interested in seeing how you do this in OS X. I have not been successful transferring from OS X myself.

Oh! My apologies. I was unaware that these existed. Thank you! :)

Wolfram, is the EII tools program available for download somewhere? Even a paid version?

I was not able to get the SMAX program to send a Sound Designer bank to my Emax via the EmUser. When I open a .ems file in SMAX, it appears to transmit properly (the progress bar completes.) But nothing happens on the sampler end (it never says "Under Control of Macintosh" and the bank does not appear to have arrived at its destination.) I confirmed the EmUser is working properly using EMXP on Windows.

Any thoughts? Is there a driver that needs to be installed? I must be missing something obvious.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
