should i sell right now my groovebox MC-505 for an Emax II (w/ manuals 
hardcase, pedal)

It's the Emax II sequencer more estable than the Emax 1 sequencer?

The sequencer in the Emax II is no more "stable", nor is it more
feature-rich than the Emax. It is still a 'scratchpad' sequencer which
offers no quantization or song arrangement.
