Angle dependent display contrast

Angle dependent display contrast

2008-06-22 by bass_krazy

I have owned 4 Emax I units (2-keys/2 racks) and on all of them no
matter how good or bright the backlight the contrast was always angle
dependent.
Both the racks had the little front panel hole for contrast and 1 of
the keys had the pot on the Digital board for contrast.
Is the contrast always angle dependent or do some of you have displays
that offer mulktiple viewing angles?

So that's what they're for ...

My Emax 1 HD Plus & II rack's are both angle dependent. No software control.
The Proteus improved on this somewhat with the backlit viewing angle being
tweakable.
