Emax 2 and MAC SEHD for sale

Emax 2 and MAC SEHD for sale

2009-12-07 by John

I'm giving in and selling my Emax 2 and Mac SE 30 FD/HD with connecting cable.

I'll post some photos and all details tonight after work.

I don't have the patience to try to get it all to work together and I'm going to use a more modern streamlined system for recording. The tweaking and work ahead is just too much and is affecting my creative energy. I can't even walk into my studio/office and get creative anymore and I believe it would be better to find a new home for someone with the passion and know-how and patience to enjoy and give a home to these wonderful items.

Look for my ad here tonight, and or I will post a link if I decide to do ebay auction(s).

Thanks to all who had suggestions or tried to help. I need to go a simpler, more modern, and straight forward route now.

Thanks!

Which self help sites have you tried already?

http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/mac_classic/stats/mac_se30.html

States that the supported MacOS are: 6.0.5-7.5.1, 7.5.3-7.5.5-7.6.1

http://www.lowendmac.com/compact/macintosh-se30.html

Has many links on repairing, upgrading, what to look for, etc. and also links to System 6 and 7 downloads and website/user groups.

So if Alchemy will run on System 7.5.3, it is right here in 19 parts as well as the 7.5.5 update in 14 parts.

http://www.info.apple.com/support/oldersoftwarelist.html

And then you can put Icab browser on it like I did.

http://www.icab.de/dl.php

If you can't connect to the internet in any way to download the files directly, you'll probably have to start at this site to try and format some disks with your windows PC.
