Okay I missed that one!

Your telling me you can do ANYTHING with and EMAX and
SoundForge? I have both and would LOVE to know what
your talking about.

If there is a REMOTE chance I can edit samples with my
SoundForge software and dump them to my EMAX SE HD
rack I would be in sound editing HEAVEN!!

Please let me know!

THanks!

Hello, I use to send waves from Soundforge to my Emax II via Midi, but I can´t do the same with the SCSI port.
Could anyone tell me how?
Thanks.
Pedro.

Sound Forge is completely capable of sending samples to any instrument that excepts
MIDI SDS. There is a tutorial on my website.

That's because the Emax II was made before there was SMDI (scsi sample transfer
protocal). With the Emax II you have two option for sample transfers, using MIDI SDS
(limited to mono files and as slow as molasses) or the RS-422 port with a Mac and old
software.

Does the Emax Se HD rack accept that?

All Emax models accept MIDI SDS. Keep in mind though the original Emax is a 12 bit
machine with odd sampling rates. I think you need to make sure the sample is 12 bit and
at one of those rates before the Emax will accept it.
