hello I finally got my emax running but when I power on, it give me message of WARNING NEED TO RECALIBRATE what does it mean? my floppy is broken? because the lights just keep shinning and does the harddrive make noises? thanks

I'm not sure what it means, but it could be you need to use the recalibration option in the
master menu to recalibrate your sliders.

That is very much not true. Right now I believe the best source for a double density
floppy drive compatible with the emax is http://www.route66studios.com

It's not normal for any part of the emax hardware to not work. Though it could be that
there simply is no samples assigned to that zone. Do they not work with any bank you
load? Do they send out MIDI information?
