emax II display/ps whine

Hi, I am trying to put another oled display in my emax II, but after taking out the old one I hear a whine coming from the screen. I unsoldered the inverter (VR1?) and now I still hear a whine coming from the power supply. Is there anything I can do? Thanks, Chase
