Passport Alchemy 3.0

2002-12-16 by quincy_swe <c95hpn@...>

Hi,

I've seen some threads about Passport Alchemy and how hard it seems
to find anywhere. If you want to pay a lot of money for an old
outdated sample editor follow this link:
http://www.piens.be/database/product.lasso?pr=14430

They sell Passport Alchemy 3.0.

If someone know how to get a hold of a copy cheaper I'm interested!

thanks

Hi

I can't tell whether what they're selling is new in the box , used or
whatever because of the language barrier but that deal doesn't seem to
be that bad if it is new with 2 authorizations and manual. I think I
paid around $300.00 USD for it when it first came out. I love it and
still use it all the time. Although I do use newer programs for other
samplers, as far as I know nothing for Mac supports the Emax other than
Alchemy. I have several Emaxs (and plan to use them until they drop
dead!) so I use a dedicated Mac 840AV running Alchemy just for them. I'm
always on the lookout for a back up version just to have. That price is
a bit steep for me because I already own a copy but if I didn't who
knows! I'd have to find out more info on who they are and what exactly
they're selling. It really is a shame that Alchemy is gone and that no
other company can support older gear. How hard would it be for Peak to
add support for older gear? I don't know much about programming but
...... Anyway, enough said.
