I'm about to step the other way. Keeping the Mac, of course - it'll 
still be my main box. But the price of a mere Mac OS upgrade will get me 
1/4 of a very capable PC. I'm really warming to the idea of having both 
a Mac and a PC, connected with gigabit ethernet of course.
