EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

One of ExsManager OSX's many features is greatly speeding up load 
times of EXS instruments by quickly fixing the paths to the samples 
inside of the instrument files. It identifies duplicate samples (and 
can even use a CRC check to make sure multiple samples with the same 
name really are identical), as well as unused samples to possibly be 
deleted. It was designed from the beginning to work with very large 
sets of samples, and in a recent benchmark on a G5 dual 2.0 GHz with 
1.5 GB of RAM, with the Vienna Symphonic Library Pro edition (both 
the Cube and Performance sets, a total of over 400,000 sample files 
and nearly 10,000 instruments) located on an external FW400 hard 
drive, ExsManager OSX relinked and optimized all of the samples in 
just under 8 minutes!

The Standard edition allows for a library of up to 10,000 
instruments and 200,000 individual samples, while the Pro version 
allows for 1 million instruments and 4 million samples. The other 
advantages of the Pro version are the ability to generate reports 
and the ability to scan multiple drives in parallel. 

- - About the group buy - -

The group buy will last for two weeks. Because there is both a 
Professional and Standard version, with the Pro edition costing 
twice as much, this group buy will work on a "points" system. Each 
sign up for the Standard edition counts as 1 point, and the Pro 
edition counts as 2 points. At the end of the two weeks, the 
discount will be calculated based on the total number of points so 
far. You will be able to purchase it online and download it as soon 
as you've paid. 

Normal price:
80 Euro for the Pro version, 40 Euro for the Standard version 
($94 USD for Pro, or $46 USD for Standard). 

Discounted price: 
0 to 19 points:  no group buy discount
20 to 39 points: 15% discount
40 to 59 points: 20% discount
60 or more pts:  30% discount

That way if 30 people get the Pro version the best discount will be 
reached, or if people sign up for 15 Pro and 30 Standard, or 25 Pro 
and 10 Standard, etc. With the 30% discount the price would be 56 
Euro for Pro / 28 Euro for Standard, or $65.80 USD for Pro / $32.20 
for Standard.

points before the end of the two weeks so the best price is
