Hi, I have exactly the same problem. I was just about to post the same thing to the list. I am using a dual 2GHz on Mac OS X 10.2.8 with Logic Platinum 6.3.1 I have 2 SATA 160GB drives. My samples are on the non System drive. I am using an RME digiiface with latest drivers. I will try an earlier one. What audio hardware are you using? Matt
