Actually, as an owner of both, I can see where you are coming from. However, Kontakt is not working very well on the mac side (OSX) mainly due to DFD. NI takes their sweet time updating anything because of all the products they have. I have had much better luck with EXS but agree that it (especially the editor) needs an overhaul.
