If you have these type of sounds with your Emu as it is, you can convert them to EXS-24 using Translator www.chickensys.com/translator - they usually will sound as warm, although if there is extensive programming across the voices you might loose some of the real-time feel. For latency, if you get a fast Mac you probably won't see a difference, but there is one. You might not like it at first, at worse, but you'll get used to it. And you don't have to think of it as a replacement - think of it as an addition, and let the EXS-24 phase the Emu out naturally - that way you'll know for sure. Garth Hjelte Sampler User
