Colin, Thank you for replying. Where do I find .res files? Where should I place .res files when I do find them? I updated v.4.8.1 to v.5 and then to 6.1 off the CD's and then updated to 6.3.1 off the Logic site. I just moved the VST instruments out of the Logic VST folder, stored them in a separate folder on the same drive, and then replaced them into the new VST folder. Apart from that, I just followed the prompts but didn't see anything about .res files. I've been trying to work out how much RAM to allow for these new versions. I've guessed at a minimum of 135,000 and a max of 160,000. I'm running Waves & TC plugs and Reaktor on occassion. I'm also noticing sync issues as others are reporting on this site. In the Logic 6 Reference-Addendum, it makes reference to a'DV Out' option I should find in the Global Preferences menu. There is no such option in my 6.3.1 Global Preference menu. I'm going to try trashing the preferences (system) but before I do, I woud like to hear more about .res files. Appreciate your help.
