You guys _do_ know about the I/O-plug-in trick, don't you? Cable a Channel Splitter into max. 16 audio instruments, insert an I/O plug-in (from the Helpers category) on all of them, and set some input & output on all plug-ins (important). Then bypass all I/O plug-ins. Assign a track to the Channel Splitter, and set Logic in play mode (or play/pause). Does give some latency, but at least it works -- you can now play up to 16 virtual instruments simultaneously. Instead of a channel splitter you can also use a neutral object such as a Monitor to route the same midi stream to multiple parallel instruments (i.e. not split the incoming data by channel). Or use a Multi-Instrument instead of a Channel Splitter. Etc. -- Hendrik Jan Veenstra h @ k n o w a r e . n l Omega Art: http://www.omega-art.com/
