The audiowerk 8 doesn't work on a G5 because it's not a PCI-X card. 
I've kept mine for my PC when I've received my G5. I know it's a pity 
but I think you should buy a new soundcard... except if you wanna use 
the G5 audio out which is great. Nearly no latency :-)
