The GIGA version is on sale as well but not discounted as much as the 
E-mu version ($199 vs $99).  It all depends on whether or not you want 
to pay the extra for the easier conversion since the GIGA version is 
programmed to include various velocity levels and articulations in the 
same program whereas I believe that the E-mu version does not (in order 
to save memory).  You're not getting any more samples on the GIGA 
version than on the E-mu version - just the combined programs.  Myself, 
I went for the E-mu version and took the extra price break.  I tend to 
program my own patches anyway and rarely use the programs as they come 
directly off of the sample CD.
