It all depends on whether or not you want to pay the extra for the easier conversion since the GIGA version is programmed to include various velocity levels and articulations in the same program whereas I believe that the E-mu version does not (in order to save memory). You're not getting any more samples on the GIGA version than on the E-mu version - just the combined programs. Myself, I went for the E-mu version and took the extra price break.
