Logic's Hyper Editor is excellent for programming drum parts. You can see and edit the temporal placement and the velocities of all notes on the one screen with one tool. You can apply a "feel" to this programmed part either by A) using prefab swing quantisation or B) extracting a "feel" from a played-in part (making your recorded part into a groove template ) and then applying it to your programmed drum part.
