Yes, I don't see anything difference with other editors.

Yes, I use one long aiff track (that consist staccato note c, c#, d 
etc), of which I made several start and end point for every key.

It produces the same noise; a sort of 'white noise' during the time 
of the sample. So, somehow there is a relation between the instrument 
and sample. 
By the way, when I made the instrument, it sounded great. No problem.

I must be overlooking a silly thing...?
