They are nice rich fat juicy analog type sounds. And the sampler instruments are set up and organized well. And they are set up nicely to easily sync filter sweeps or other parameters to tempo if you want to, without too much tweaking necessary. I have the ES1 as well. I like it but admittedly don't use it too much anymore. It isn't really that "sophisticated" a plugin compared to what else is out there these days. But it's still fun to play around with. And it's got a nice big fat sounding filter that you can use as a sidechain to run other audio through if you want to.
