looks like I found what I needed on the Logic FAQ page, under Emagic plug-ins. "18.14 EXS: How do you merge different instruments into one in the EXS? - Open two EXS instances. - Open your source instrument in one and the target instrument in the other one, press "Edit" for both of them. - In the source instrument, do a "Select all" (Command [Ctrl] A), and "Copy" (Command [Ctrl] C) - In the target instrument, do a "Paste (Command [Ctrl] V). - Finally do a "Save as" for the target instrument and give it a new name. - Done, even your source patch's group settings and groups will be copied over." --- --- In exs-users@yahoogroups.com, "Andrew Tokuda" <adroo@m...> wrote: > I hope I can explain this correctly.
