I'm not sure the P version imports Giga instruments, but I am sure it doesn't do disk streaming. Can you load the Mamsj\ufffd into RAM? If not, you may be SOL. By the way, I don't think Apple took large sample libraries into account when they decided to include the P version with Logic Express. $300 to be able to use a second machine for libraries that are larger than one machine can handle would be totally reasonable, even if you do have to do some ridiculous stuff to get Logic to behave as a stand-alone sample player. But the P version won't work. A rack of XServes would be great for this. Instead, people like me are buying Windows machines like they're going out of style!
