A quick note regarding Powercore, Waves will NOT be supporting the TC card at any time. I read a copy of a notice from the president of Waves clearly stating their support of TDM as the only dedicated DSP system. Bearing in mind that Bomb Factory and the other respected leaders in TDM plug-in design have no support whatsoever for VST and have no plans to support it, and also the recent announcement by Prosoniq that they are dropping VST as a format in favour of TDM, that leaves very little to be desired outside the Waves plug-ins for VST. As it stands, almost every VST plug-in available from Steinberg leaves much to be desired, so even if they are re-written for Powercore, that just means you can now run more mediocre plug-ins. The Waves Native Gold bundle is simply the best system available for native platforms and if they don't support Powercore, then I suggest saving your $1199 for something else, like a downpayment on a Pro Tools lease... My two cents... Kaveh Cohen. P.S. Don't be too excited about the TC Tools bundle including their Megaverb, it doesn't sound anywhere near as good as the other high end TDM plug-ins. If you want excellent priced TC reverb, buy their 24bit M-One...
