You don't have to. Just boot in 9, install Logic-9, launch Logic and use the EXS to convert the soundfonts. Then move the soundfont sampler instruments (i.e. the converted exs instruments) from the Logic-9 Sampler Instruments folder to the Logic-X Sampler Instruments folder. Move the samples (in the Soundfont Samples folder) to some logical place, and restart in OSX. No need to keep using Logic-9 at all.
