EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Greetings everyone,

I know this has been covered before - I've searched for and read past
posts on how to set up multi-channel instruments, and I believe I've
followed the directions correctly, but it still doesn't work.

Despite having: (1) set up a mutli-channel drums instrument (e.g.,
kicks group set to main output, snares to output 3-4, toms
to 5-6, etc.); (2) chosen Multi Channel EXSP24 in the Instrument
object; and (3) set up the Aux objects to receive input from
the various EXSP outputs, it seems that regardless of the group output
channel settings, ALL the samples are output only through the channel 
pair selected in the Options menu of the multi-channel EXSP24 instance. 
From that menu I can select outputs 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, or 7-8, and the 
selected pair are the channels that output all the drums, ignoring the 
instrument's group settings.
 
I'd really like to get multi-channel drums happening soon, any advice
is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
