Hendrik, That's a very judgmental attitude to take. If the individual left the group because he was mortified at your rather peevish post, then you should take responsibility for your action. Instead, you have extrapolated several negative reasons for the person leaving which - given that you have no idea what others are actually experiencing - are probably wrong. Unless, of course, you are a mind-reader. A little tolerance can go a long way. If you are a decent person, you'll email that fellow personally and try to get him to return.
