Key Switching means you hit a key outside the normal range of the instrument and this triggers the instrument to use the different type of sample. In the Instrument editor you will find that different "Groups" will make use of settings such as select by NOTE C#. Confusion can arise if you are trying to edit an instrument and you cannot see a parameter you wish to edit. You would then need to go to the view menu of an instrument and make sure that your required parameter's visibility is turned on. If it is ticked it is visble if it is not you can't see it. To make it visible when it is not you just scroll to the required item and release the mouse. Stuart Warren Sandpiper Music UK
