Friends, When I used to occasionally use EXS24 on my older G4 400 Mhz Mac, I simply used the Mac AV method of outputting sound to the console. For my needs, it worked ok. Now, I've upgraded to a somewhat newer G4, 1 gig, still using 9.2.2. And...the Mac AV signal is unusuable--static, distortion, computer noise when clicking on menus, etc. 2 questions: Is this fixable? If not, could you guys recommend the most economical solution? If we're talking digital interfaces, I wouldn't really be using them for anything other than this, so I'd sure like to keep the cost down as much as possible. Are there any which are both good and cheap? Thanks in advance! Roland LAP, version 4.7.1 EXS version ? (I know...old software...but I sure works when I occasionally need it...until now)
