Short of you buying that EXS Manager software which reassociates samples to zones apparently fairly quickly, or using the dead-slow project manager (I still haven't figured that thing out -- I'm new to logic 6), here is a sloppy but effective solution. It's a pain in the arse, but it works: Find just THE FIRST sample, save the EXS instrument and then, QUIT AND REBOOT LOGIC. When the EXS instrument that you just did this trick to loads in, it'll now know where all the samples are. The smart thing to do is to load in ALL the instrument you think you'll need, do the first (or any one) sample "reunion", then save ALL those instruments. Upon rebooting, they ALL should load in fine. Emagic, you REALLY need to solve this long-standing problem :-(
