thank you all for your help i haven't *quite* found what i'm looking for on the web sites you suggested and i'm not in a position to purchase a huge orchestral library (i'm still a non-profitable home musician). anyway, i have found a semi longish descending glissando treebell in the reason orchestra library which was close enough, and i have found another ascending one in my exs instruments, which I reversed. I layered them together and it gave me a sufficient result. you can hear it by the way here http://www.polar-pair.com/mp3/yeah_axla.mp3 (the sound is more noticeable at the very end of the track) as for your offer matt, that would actually be very very nice of you, if you can be bothered doing this. thanks so much for your kind offer!!
