For sure in some instances you're right but I'm doing a lot of acoustic 
drum programming right now using and loving the Wizoo Mixtend library - 
which is kind of where this thread came out of - and when using  a full 
kit like this in the way described you do get the full kit available on 
every channel. You just have to "demix by note pitch" after performing.
