Komplete 2 package containing Kontakt and it's hard to believe how much it beats the EXS hands down when it comes to anything such as live performing. Want a layer? Easy, just drag the second intrument into the rack. Want two sounds to play on two different MIDI channels? Easy, just drag again and change the MIDI channel. Want to save your instrument with the required amount of EQ/Reverb/Delay to suit the performance? Again, you may have guessed: Easy, just dial in the effects in Kontakt. Need some complete performance patches? Load a multi. And so on. And you don't need to have Logic in play mode either. Plus, you could also use the standalone which might raise stability (even if I don't experience stability issues yet). The EXS is still great for efficiency, stability and easy building of easy patches (the automap feature is just great), but if I had to perform some live stuff I'd go for something else Seriously, I'm not up to some EXS slagging, but it's simply not up to date anymore, especially for such things.
