I think it does take up more ram

you need to use a multi instrument exs 24, then send each sound to a 
diffrent output which is then selected as a AUX channel, select a aux 
channel and hold down like you are selecting a instrument and select a input 
form the exs 24.

if your using a g5 2gz dual you may get clicking, there is a way round it 
tho if it happens
