Not a Mac expert here, but: Did you try to run the libraries from one external drive only (preferably the FW one I'd say)? Did you test some different virtual memory settings yet? One thing seems to be for sure: LogicPro's audio performance is REALLY poor (to even put it mildly, and it's NOT related to OSX but solely up to Emagic to fix this as other apps don't perform even halfway as bad), so you may better be off loading as much as possible into your RAM, rather than streaming things (that's why I'd recommend to set the virtual memory thing on the EXS as low as possible - try to set disk drive speed to "slow" and harddisk recording activity to "extensive", no matter whether that's true or not). Wouldn't happen to know if EXS performance is affected by the generally lousy audio performance of LogicPro, but it might be worth a shot. - Sascha
