I think that's more like a question for the LUG, but however - there's lots of quantization options, you should just fool around with the extended parameter box to see what they're actually doing. In case you want to "copy" the groove of an MPC2000 I could only recommend trying to find some loops of it, load them into Logic and use the "audio to MIDI groove template" function of Logic's time and pitch machine. Alternatively you may want to load them into any loop slicing tool (such as Phatmatik Pro, ReCycle or Intakt) and export the MIDI groove from there into Logic, then make a template out of that. - Sascha
